Surrounded by Norris Cancer Hospital, KECK School of Medicine, the School of Pharmacy and the Doheny Eye Institute, the 126-seat, 6,500 square foot Plaza Restaurant at HSC’s Plaza Marketplace serves as a friendly and convenient meeting place for students, faculty, visiting guests and patients and their families.

Plaza Restaurant features exhibition-style cooking and an open and airy California-style atmosphere accented by warm rusts and caramels, leather seats, geometric shaped tables and a colorful backdrop of handcrafted ceramics from Europe, Morocco, Mexico and South America.

An extensive menu offers something for everyone, with fresh selections that guarantee to keep taste buds entertained. Appetizing choices include Sushi from, featuring savory favorites such as California and spicy tuna rolls.

Homemade pizza fresh from the oven, like our signature pepperoni pizza served whole or by the slice, and gourmet pizzas-of-the-day made with mouth-watering ingredients like (list interesting ingredients). Pizza delivery service is also available

including everyone’s favorite orange chicken, as well as beef and broccoli and mixed vegetables.

Made-to-order sandwiches and salads from a wide selection of fresh fixings, hot and satisfying daily soups, delicious rotisserie chicken, hearty Italian and Mexican specials, healthy vegetarian dishes, and a large assortment of bottled and on-tap beverages.

Outdoor seating is also available for an enjoyable al fresco experience under the warm southern California sun. Weather permitting, TrojanHospitality Services fires up the outdoor barbeque for hot-off-the-grill fare including hamburgers and hotdogs, chicken, tri-tip, corn on the cob, vegetable kabobs, Italian and Polish sausage and much more.

Right next door to the Plaza Restaurant, the Plaza Café offers an enticing daily selection of fresh-baked goodies such as muffins, bagels, croissants, scones, breakfast breads, pastries, fruit tarts and bars, cakes, brownies and homemade bread pudding, to name just a few.

The café also serves fresh Starbucks coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, mochas, Trojan Chillers, Tazo teas, and a variety of ice blended drinks including smoothies and all-new boba teas. Relax and enjoy your dessert at the indoor game tables for a friendly match of checkers or backgammon, in comfortable lounge chairs that offer a perfect place to catch up on your reading, or outside under a shady umbrella.

Adjoining the café, the convenience store is the perfect pit stop for the grab-and-go crowd. All kinds of snacks including pretzels, Colombo yogurt, Pepperidge Farm cookies, candy and bottled juices and water, as well as newspapers, are available here.

Welcome to HSC’s newest addition. Come in for a wide variety of freshly baked bagels and a tempting selection of shmears. But it’s not all about the bagel – Einstein Bros also offers salads, roll-ups, sandwiches, sweets and drinks, including cappuccino and espresso. All you need is a healthy appetite and strong decision-making ability.
